Lauren (or Layron) is a Chicago-born, Tucson-based illustrator and animator that also specializes in design and mixed media. She utilizes her experiences and hones in on her interest in psychology, anthropology, and history when creating. Her lifelong interest in the arts has led to her pursuing a career within the field, as well as testing the waters for museum-based work. All of this has had an impact on her creations, which often focus on the way her brain functions, essentially an outlet for her many thoughts.

Lauren enjoys spending time with her friends and partner, as well as engaging with many different forms of media. She also dedicates a lot of her time working with local nonprofits. Her years of work with the SALT Center, as well as work with Children’s Museum Tucson, University of Arizona Museum of Art, Ben’s Bells, and more have transformed her understanding of the world.
